"Establishing in the briefest terms, whether something would work so you can prioritise and focus. That was quite helpful. Rather than going through a long-winded process".

Calling all Professional Services staff
Do you support researchers to realise the commercial value of their work?
If so, Research to Value offers a fantastic opportunity to learn a time-efficient process for helping researchers identify and define commercial opportunities and support them on their commercialisation journey.
The Scottish Funding Council in partnership with Skillfluence are providing a professional development programme to enhance your commercialisation support skills.
This is an action-oriented, output-focused programme where you work together with a researcher you choose from your Institution. Together you’ll explore the commercial potential of their research portfolio and leave with a well-defined opportunity, including an estimated commercial value and specific next-steps for progressing the opportunity.
Important: Both the Professional Services staff member and their researcher partner must each submit separate applications. Please coordinate with your partner to ensure you both apply by the deadline.
