Pathfinder Accelerator Launch

We are absolutely delighted to announce our involvement in the relaunched Pathfinder Accelerator programme!

Applications for the first cohort, beginning on 9th September are now open.

Skillfluence has partnered with Investing Women Angels to deliver Pathfinder Accelerator, a Highlands and Islands Enterprise development programme for Highland businesses looking to launch a new business or product.

The programme is open to businesses, social enterprises, entrepreneurs, and start-ups in the Highland Council area looking to develop a product, service or business model that relates to technology, life sciences, IT, healthcare, engineering, or aquaculture. This includes businesses using technology to help recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Participants will be taught practical tools and techniques that can be used from day one to define, de-risk, fund, plan and execute their new business ideas over the 6-month programme. Highlights of the programme include a new course structure (including an e-learning platform to make the course more accessible), 1-2-1 mentoring and the opportunity to pitch to Angel investors.

Virtual taster sessions are arranged for 24th June and 28th July. The taster sessions offer an introduction to the programme and provides an opportunity to meet the course director, get an idea of the Pathfinder journey, the application process and ask any further questions you might have.

Register for 24th June Taster Session here.

Register for 28th July Taster Session here.

For any other questions, you can contact the Pathfinder team: pathfinder@skillfluence.co.uk

Pathfinder Accelerator is funded through the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal – a joint initiative supported by £315m investment from the UK and Scottish governments, The Highland Council, HIE and University of the Highlands and Islands. This programme also receives financial support from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Innovation strategic intervention.
